What to bring

Mountains can have all seasons in a day so plan for hot, cold, wet and  dry conditions. As we'll be on a hike and staying at a mountain refuge on Thursday we ask that you bring a few things as part of your kit list.

  • swimwear (the chalet has a swimming pool, sauna and hot tub!)

  • sunglasses

  • sun hat

  • suncream

  • hiking boots

  • fast-drying outdoor trousers

  • outdoor shirt

  • fleece/warm 2nd layer

  • wind and waterproof outdoor jacket

  • a rucksack (about 20 ltr)

  • a min 1ltr camelbag/thermos/plastic bottle (for hike)

  • earplugs (for refuge stay)

  • a (lightweight outdoor) towel

  • a head torch (if you have one)

  • plug adaptor if required (EU)


 

Schedule

At Alptitude we aim for moments of quiet and reflection, and moments of adventure in the wild. It's up to you to choose the week you want, but we do encourage everyone to join us for meals together and the hike & refuge stay. Meals will be at Trueman Alp unless otherwise stated.

Early morning activities start at 7am
Breakfast will be served from 8-9am unless stated

With lunch at 1pm and dinner at 7pm approx

Arrivals – Geneva airport pick-up
Baguettes and salad on arrival
Walk to botanical gardens 4pm
Welcome address and drinks 6pm
Welcome dinner 7.30pm

SUNDAY
Mindful walk 7am
Icebreaker sessions 9.30am
Forest walk 2pm
Ropes course (2 hrs +€25)
Pizza night

MONDAY
Pilates 7am
Group sessions 9.30am
e-bikes tour of the valley (half day +€59) 2.30pm

TUESDAY
Qi Gong 7am
Group Sessions 9.30am
Rafting 3pm

WEDNESDAY
Full day hike and refuge stay 

THURSDAY
Hike down the mountain

What's included

 

Your fee covers all early morning activities (such as yoga and pilates), the full-day guided hike, refuge stay and white water rafting. Any other activity must be paid for in Euros directly to the supplier.

3 meals a day are included and wine will be supplied with evening meals.
